Thіѕ is my first in a series of L&H clips that will ѕhοw whу I think they are easily the mοѕt аmυѕіnɡ comedians in history. “TеƖƖ Mе Thаt Again” was a gag that set up each film’s рƖοt but fіnіѕhеԁ up being one of their celebrated routines in іtѕ οwn rіɡht. Classic comedy is the second emphasis of my YouTube channel. Game shows will still be featured in the future as well as crossovers linking game shows and classic comedians. Coming soon, a tribute to Fred Allen.

I wish Laurel & Hardy’s 20 minute shorts were out on DVD. One of the best comedy series of all time, long before television even existed.
Like that bit at the start of the “Fixer uppers” clip, when Stan mistakes the painting for the woman…”So you won’t talk huh ??”
Fantastic compilation! Thanks for that!
Stan Laurel died 3 weeks before I was born and he will always remain one of my right heroes. Genius. Laurel & Hardy were the best ! Long live Stan & Babe!
Tell me that again.
Come simple go simple.
To all of these comments, I add my AMEN! While I have affection for all the classic comedians (Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, WC Fields, etc.) , Laurel and Hardy will always be my favorites. Their films were always on television in the 50s into the 70s, and the first video for my VHS I ever bought was an L&H compilation. I wish, too that their films could be available on DVD. I’d be there in a heartbeat!
genius is eternal.
I reckon the scene from OLIVER THE EIGHTH is my favorite – I like how Stanley keeps coming back to “wouldn’t have to work hard any more…”
Yes I recermember them he he Ulver Stan
I want to get the best clip where the Japanese Sandman is the theme composition

@WSenator1 They are on DVD. We have a couple.
@WSenator1 – If you could share information on obtaining such DVD, please do so. Thanks!
My boys! I like them.
@WSenator1 There are complete sets available from the UK on Amazon. If you have a region free DVD player (or one you can make region free), it’s a pretty excellent deal.
@GarudaStudio – Thanks for the info. I’ll get right on it!
By the end, it sounds like William S. Burroughs wrote it… like a cut-up!
Really agree! They were the best by a mile and there will never be a comedy duo to come anywhere near them again! Even even if I’ve seen their best movies again and again, I always find new things to laugh at with each subsequent viewing. Their classic movies pack in a remarkable amount of clever, subtle touches that highlight their comedy genius and sadly confirm that we will never see their like ever again!
