Why educators continue to “drill” example diplomacy into for children minds, making them memorize, is beyond me. The look of failing a child is devastating. I failed in the 5th grade, and despised school and myself, thereafter. I blame the teacher for not recognizing that I was having distress learning by her way of teaching. My IQ is really quite high, but, I didn’t learn well by memorization. I’m 60 now, and realize it was the teacher who failed, not I.
Is the only valid goal for a human being to become a CEO or an Entrepreneur? Isn’t this an American thought that seeks to limit us all in anticipation of we all become … well, like them???
