If you watch my other video “November 27 BFL Update” there is video of me in 2006 vs. video of me now. I’ve lost about 60 pounds this year. I do just fine with eating healthy and exercising, so I don’t need to do anything more than that. :)

I did the master cleanse for 16 days and had a health check doctor do extensive blood work on me. My high blood pressure came down to 120/70 and my cholestrol is now normal. My doctor said she was amazed at the postive improvements in my health.

You should mention the MC is not a “diet” but rather is a cleanse. My weight loss was an unexpcect benefit.

  3. smoothvirus says:

MC may not be a diet but people are using it for that function. It’s a quick and is not the best way to lose weight. I suppose it can’t really hurt you – provided you don’t follow it for very long, but the thought that you need to quick to “clean out toxins” has been debunked by many doctors.

  4. Krysb107 says:

It’s called the Master Cleanser….NOT the Master Cleanse DIET. It’s NOT a diet…you should do more research…

  5. itstastybacon says:

Unfortunatley, krysb is right, the master cleanse is not a diet, and should not be treated as such, it is a detox and should definatley not be used for losing weight. Alas It

  6. itstastybacon says:

To continue where I was below, Im going to state now that I really despise doctors because so many of them shouldnt be doctors or giving out advice in the first place, there are many counter studies to what you just said as well. People ARE using the master cleanse to lose weight, and i did it for 40 days, and I became in excellent health in many ways…

  7. itstastybacon says:

a video about lymes disease, and how doctors ignore that and will tell patients its in their head, and they are ignoring it. Doctors are mere humans capable of the same mistakes we are, and of course they are going to write off stuff like this, do you reckon they studied the master cleanse in institution, probably not. Did Stanley Burroughs or people like me study the master cleanse before doing it.. Of course we did,

  8. itstastybacon says:

and i noticed the reactions of my body and what it was doing and followed up with doctors visits.

sorry if these are out of order, anyways… doctors also say candida doesnt exist, and lyme doesnt exist, and by all means it does…

from the master cleanse i am much in excellent health than i had been in a long time, and you cannot argue with that, because thats why i did it. Not to lose weight.

It is hard for a name like yourself to know why all else cannot lose the wieght like you did.

There are clinic out there that have been doing this protocol for 35 years. Thousands out there are doing this and having success.

I lost 45lbs with Simeons protocol. If a name told you to eat only 500cal with limited choices. You too would rationalize yourself into believing that this does not work or is unsafe.

its simple just check my channel please, thanks.

You are so right, excellent information

Well, any diet that is “fake” by some quack is bound to fail because of how diverse peoples’ genetic makeups are. I’ve never been on a diet, my metabolism is lightning quick, but I have friends who have been/are and the ones who stick with it have altered nothing but their lifestyles, just like you said. Eating healthy and exercising does work if you’re willing to place in the effort. And losing 40-60 lbs in six weeks? Anorexics don’t even lose that much popping 20 laxatives a day!

I’m interested in John Berardi’s “Scrawny to Brawny” program and about one month ago, searching for “Jon Berardi” in YouTube, I saw your SuperShake video. Since then, I’ve been taking a look at your videos. I’m 1,82m and one year and a half ago my weight was only 74Kg – now 84,5Kg (5’11 2/3″ 163lb now 186lb). Although my goals are different from yours, we both need willpower and I found your videos very inspiring. Congratulations and keep up the excellent work.

    Até a próxima!

It’s sad that people find some way to justify this diet — which is exactly what it is. A small known but salacious fact: “Doctor” Stanley Burroughs was convicted of second degree murder, as well as impersonating a physician, when one of his “patients” died as a result of the “master cleanse.” Lifestyle changes do work – YES. Go to the gym, eat sensibly. The only people, IMHO, who “make it” at Master Cleanse are those too bone idle to make an honest effort.

  16. bewif says:

Fad Diets are sad. Proper Nutrition is the key to Weight Loss, along with proper exercise, of course.

But, when you’re looking for SURE cash – you invent a Marketing plot for a “new diet” and you’ll find plenty of others looking to throw their hard earned cash into your bank account with small thought.

Hopefully people will realize that these “diet diplomacy” are phony and MADE by Marketers, not Physicians. Precision Nutrition = GREAT Nutritional Plot.

    Fantastic Video!

    Your amusing…

  18. pipersmitty87 says:

you wouldnt be able to do the master cleanse. You look up research for reasons not to do something. Well keep reading because you look like you could use a quick.

  19. garybooker says:

What? Are you really trying to make a name feel terrible for researching what a physician has to say about a diet?

  20. pipersmitty87 says:

fasting has been around for hundreds of years but I’m sure that they are “Fad diets”. They require firm discipline but that doesn’t appeal to some people.

  21. Aliendanger777 says:

You have ZERO CLUE of what your talking about, you find 1 doctor who is not a naturalist and unqualified when it comes to understanding the process of what takes place when the body rests it’s digestive tract/system. The Master Cleanse is about cleansing the body not about weight loss never was. The weight loss is ordinarily only part of ridding the body of toxins and built up in the colon and throughout the body. People probably use it to lose weight but it was never about losing weight.

  22. Aliendanger777 says:

If you know the cleansing process and what lemons or limes do for the organs, such as kidney, liver, colon and so on you would know why the lemons, limes are beneficial when cleansing the body. The maple syrup is only used for the added minerals and to bring some flavor to the juice while taking the lemons/limes in the system.

  23. Aliendanger777 says:

The maple syrup is really un-necessary if a name chooses to not use it at all but you can only imagine how much harder it would be to drink lemon juice down without a small flavor/sweetness. The cayenne pepper is there for the arteries and to help eliminate toxins as they are released in the blood stream, you need to learn what cayenne pepper really does when cleansing the body. There is a wits why a small is beneficial and aids elimination of toxins and release of toxins

  24. Aliendanger777 says:

in the blood stream. OBVIOUSLY you have not read up on the Master Cleanse. , All that matters is there are ENDLESS other Doctors and naturalists out there that can TESTIFY that this Master Cleanse does serve function and helps aid/elimination and detox for the body. It has BEEN PROVEN to help people overcome disease and health problems, that is part of the body process in cleansing and detox. The master cleanse is a fantastic way to DETOX and thousands have had success proven results with it.

  25. SomeRandomAhole says:

What “toxins”. Identify them, please. And provide evidence that they are harmful. If you can’t, then your belief in these ‘toxins” and need for “cleansing” are delusional.
